Dr. Nakazato removed my gallbladder in Jan '08. I wanted to share my very positive experience with him and his staff at his Orange Grove office location. During my consultation with Dr. Nakazato in Dec '07 he did not pressure me to have surgery and let me make the decision to wait and see (which, of course turned out to be wrong). When I realized that surgery was inevitable, his office helped me get a date for the following week. This was possible due to someone else's illness, but I still appreciated the effort to schedule me asap. The procedure went well, and I was up and about with very little pain in about 4 days. Less than 2 weeks after the surgery I have almost no pain. Although Dr. Nakazato has pointed out that this might be due to my level of pain tolerance, he also deserves credit. A close friend had the same procedure performed a few months before me by a different surgeon and I have seen that her incisions are larger than mine and in more inconvenient locations. I am sharing all of this because I recall how nervous I was prior to the surgery and making the decision to have the surgery, but I had a very positive experience, which I believe was in large part due to Dr. Nakazato's skill and care."
